This painting taken from a screenshot of the famous "Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King" is more like a study to me than a copy or a fan art. I made it quite quickly, without spending unecessary time in details and finishings, I Just wanted to paint until I fully understood a certain value range, the composition and the most important elements from this amazing screenshot. I also wanted to try a new style of painting that differend from the Illustrations I did in the previous years
